"That the NACO Negotiating Team is allowed the opportunity to seek an Instrument Of Transfer with SATA/USDAW, and if that is completed, to allow the Executive to hold a ballot of its members to instigate a Transfer Of Engagements once all legal formalities are agreed."
What this means is that the AGM allows NACO to discuss a possible transfer into SATA - the Supervisory, Administrative and Technical Association, which is the Management Section of USDAW, with the ultimate aim of a transfer of membership into SATA/USDAW should any ballot of members agree this.
The NACO Executive feel that it is extremely important that members should have as much input into this discussion as possible.
We have therefore instructed the NACO Officials to visit all regions to engage with the membership to ensure we encapsulate all the views and opinions, so that these matters can be formally raised with the larger Union should any transfer of engagement be agreed.
We have set up meetings at the following locations all starting at 18:00hrs.
Please be aware with the exception of the Park Inn all other locations are Coop Group Distribution Centres.
13/7/17 Park Inn Hotel , Manchester , M4 4EW
17/7/17 Newhouse Depot , Edinburgh Rd , Motherwell , ML1 5SY
18/7/17 Birtley Depot , Unit 2 , Drum Park , Chester Le Street , DH2 1AE
